How does a serving change the sugar amount?
Equal weights make a ranking comparable. A serving answers a different question: how much edible fruit are you eating? These examples use portion weights from their selected source records.
Calculate sugar in your own portionAre dried fruits included?
This ranking compares fresh fruit references. Dried fruit is kept separate because its preparation and edible weight differ. Use the fruit database to filter dried forms, or compare two named foods at the same weight.
Is sugar content the same as glycemic index?
No. This table reports food composition in grams. Glycemic index concerns blood-glucose response and requires its own evidence. We do not calculate GI from these sugar values. Read about sugar content and glycemic index.
Source values are linked in the table. Unverified values are excluded; serving sugars are calculated from the selected per-100g amount. How references are selected.
